Managing Director - Raj Mallela
Raj graduated from Kakatiya University, India, in 1995 with a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering followed by a Master of Planning (Transport Planning), New Delhi, in 1997. He worked for Lea Associated South Asia, India, for four years as the Transport Planner / Highways Engineer post which he became the Project Manager for the Asset Management Dept in MWH. In 2003 he became joint owner of Data Collection Ltd, in 2006 the Director of HIMS Ltd (NZ) and Managing director of SATRA Infrastructure Management Services Pvt Ltd (India). Raj has experience in data collection, data analysis, database management and modern asset management systems. He has considerable experience in pavement deterioration modelling, pavement management systems and database management systems particularly road and bridge management.
Director - Paul Hunter
Paul graduated from Northlands Polytechnic in 1991 with a National Certificate in Business Studies (NCB). He furthered his education at Northlands Poly with a Certificate in Business Computing and Advanced Certificate in Business Computing (ACBC). Paul joined Data Collection Ltd in 1994 as a programmer; moved up the ranks and became joint owner in 2003. He has exceptional in-depth knowledge of both the equipment and survey data and has been involved in numerous projects locally and globally. He keeps a finger on the pulse and works closely with the team to ensure Client requirements are satisfied by the level of service provided. As Managing Director he has the motivation and influence to ensure projects run smoothly and come in on budget and time.
Survey Division Manager - Diana Scruby
In 2002 Diana graduated from Liverpool University, UK, with a BSc (Hons) in Geophysics with environmental science. Shortly after graduation she joined Fugro Aperio, UK, where she applied geophysical techniques to the highways industry. In 2009 she transferred to Fugro PMS where she initially worked in Australia and then New Zealand in 2011. Whilst working for Fugro PMS she was heavily involved in engineering and data collection projects and worked through the ranks to Branch Manager in 2012. Diana joined the team in late 2012 where she now heads up the Survey Division. She brings with her a wealth of highway knowledge and experience leading and managing engineering and technical teams to complete projects on time and within the budget.
